About Flavors of Mae Kong Thai Restaurant
Daily Lunch Specials, BYOB, weekly specials.
Located at 1816 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79936, Flavors of Mae Kong Thai Restaurant operates as a thai restaurant serving El Paso in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In El Paso, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Texas run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Flavors of Mae Kong Thai Restaurant at (915) 856-0299; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, orderflavorsofmaekongthairestaurant.com.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 842 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
El Paso is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and El Paso follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Pork ribs, which cost a lot for three, I received burnt and overly fried. Highly disappointed. The location was far just to get burnt pork ribs, this is my second time eating here. I do not recommend a rating for this restaurant. Hands down π.

Hands down the worst thai food I have ever had in my life. My husband and I love thai food and usually drive all the way to the west for thai but decided to give this place a try. Big mistake! The drunken noodles are DRY and flavorless. The ginger chicken was just a pound of rice with a few flavorless chicken pieces with another pound of chili flakes on top. Iβm not sure how they can even call this Thai food. Donβt waste your money!

Mae Kong Thai was good. Service was great, their Thai tea is amazing! Plates are definitely shareable as they're pretty big. Wasn't really a fan of the crab wontons but they weren't bad. Definitely a place I'd visit again.

1st time here and was pleasantly surprised. We had the basil stir fry was delicious lots of veggies and beef and the sauce was the star of the show. The BBQ Pork bowl was different than I expected but very tasty. The regular sauce was a bit sweet but the red sauce they serve balance the flavor. My daughter order the Pho didn't get to taste it but they did not skimp on the brisket or fixings. Overall I would come back clean and staff was friendly.
